Teaching Tai Chi at Chatsworth

It was a pleasure teaching Tai Chi at Chatsworth. In this reflection, I explore how gentle movement and mindful attention can cultivate greater balance, awareness, and ease in everyday life.

Tai Chi is often thought of as movement, but beneath the movements lies something deeper: an opportunity to pause, to listen, and to become more present in our experience.

It was wonderful to spend time with the staff at Chatsworth. Through gentle movement and mindful attention, we explored balance, posture, body awareness, and wellbeing. There was plenty of focus, laughter, and enjoyment along the way.

The movements of Tai Chi are simple. Yet within those movements we can explore balance, relaxation, awareness, and presence. Skills that are just as valuable in everyday life as they are in practice.

Thank you to everyone who joined me for the session.

A chance to step out of the busyness of life and reconnect with ourselves.
